According to my RTI report, after successful completion of the programme, the Indira Gandhi National Open University generally starts the IGNOU marksheet delivery process to the students within 15 days from the date of receipt of these documents from the computer section of the Student Evaluation Division.

If you’ve not received the original grade card and provisional certificate within 1 month, you’ll need to follow the steps below.

This method always works for me, and I’ve been using it for years. You can also try.

To track the result status, follow the steps below.

Step 1- Call a customer care executive:

Call 011-29572218 and ask for the Speed Post tracking number.

Email ID:

Bachelor’s degree– bdresult@ignou.ac.in

Master’s degree– mdresult@ignou.ac.in.

If you do not receive a response or the issue remains unresolved, proceed to the next step.

Step 2–IGRAM

IGRAM is a grievance portal where you can submit a complaint.

If you want to get the tracking details for the 2025 or older sessions. Follow the steps below to submit your query.

1. Open the official IGRAM portal
2. Select Category Marksheet & Provisional Certificate
3. In the subcategory, select non-receiving of the original Marksheet & provisional certificate.
4. Click next
5. Fill in the details
6. In the query box, type “I did not receive my original grade card. Kindly provide me the IGNOU marksheet dispatch details 2025 and tracking number.”
7. Click on the submit button.

Process to download IGNOU marksheet in 2025

• Open the Official Website
• Click on the Student Service menu on the homepage.
• Click on the Results option
• Click on Grade Card
• Select your program and enter your nine or ten-digit enrollment number.
• Click on the search button.
• It will display your online copy of the grade report on the screen.

Indira Gandhi National Open University does not provide an option to download the provisional certificate online.

How to apply for an IGNOU duplicate Marksheet

Whenever we hear the term “duplicate”, a query arises: is it valid?

Yes, it is a valid document like the original one, and the university writes only “duplicate” words.

To apply for an IGNOU duplicate grade report in 2025, you need to follow the steps below:

• Download the application form.
• Fill in the required details in the application form, including your complete name, program code, and enrollment number.
• Attach a copy of your ID card with the application form.
• Pay the prescribed fee for issuing the duplicate copy through a demand draft drawn in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi.
• After filling in the form and attaching the documents, send the application form and the demand draft to the Headquarters.
• The Headquarters will verify your details and issue a duplicate one.
